(RTTNews) - Shanda Interactive (SNDA) rose in pre-market trading, after the company reported a rise in third quarter earnings.
The stock was up $2.01 just after 8:15 am ET, climbing to $23.09. If pre-market gains hold, the stock will open at its highest in just under a week.
After the closing bell on Tuesday, Shanda reported third quarter income of RMB 4.62 per ADS compared to RMB 3.26 per ADS in the prior year quarter.
On a non-GAAP basis, income was RMB 4.78 per ADS from RMB 3.46 per ADS in the year-ago quarter. Analysts expected the company to earn US$0.55 per ADS for the third quarter.
The company's consolidated net revenues for the third quarter increased 42.7% to RMB 936.5 million from RMB 656.3 million in the same quarter of last year. Analysts expected revenue of US$131.93 million for the third quarter.
