(RTTNews) - The Indonesian central bank will hold a monetary policy meeting on Thursday, headlining a light day in Asian economic news. The central bank also will announce its interest rate decision, with analysts expecting the bank to keep rates on hold at 9.50 percent.The Philippines will provide November data for foreign reserves, with forecasts calling for a surplus of $34.6 billion. That's down from $35.7 billion in the previous month.Japan will announce Q3 numbers for capital spending. Overall,forecasts call for a decline of 9.8 percent following the 6.5 percent fall in Q2. Excluding software, analysts expect a decline of 10.9 percent on year following a 7.6 percent annual contraction in the second quarter. The Bank of Japan also will provide weekly capital inflow data for stocks and bonds. Also, Japan will hold a 10-year government bond auction.Malaysia will provide October data for imports, exports and trade balance. Imports are expected higher by 2.8 percent on year, down from the 11.9 percent annual gain a month earlier. Exports are seen higher by 8.1 percent on year, easing from the 15.1 annual expansion in the previous month. The trade balance is expected to reflect a surplus of 11.74 billion ringgit following the 14.52 billion ringgit surplus amonth earlier.
